No matter what the project or piece I start the design process by hand, painting elements with gouache, ink or pen and aiming to retain a hand rendered quality within each print I create. I look to capture the energy and feeling of the subject through interesting colour combinations, quality of line, composition and layout. I take inspiration from the natural world around us, ultimately hoping to create prints that feel timeless, unique and considered.
